These terms apply to media restoration, repair, and IT support services provided by Dr. Robot Repairs and Restorations. By requesting a quote or dropping off an item, you agree to the terms below.

Quotes and turnaround times

Quotes are free and non-binding until you approve the work. Turnaround times we give you are estimates, not guarantees, and can change based on item condition or workload.

Item condition and risk

Repair and restoration work is performed at the item owner's risk. Some tapes and devices arrive already damaged or degraded; in those cases, full recovery may not be possible, and we'll tell you what we can realistically do as part of your quote before any work begins.

Copyright

By submitting media for transfer, you confirm that you own the content or otherwise hold the rights necessary to have it copied for your personal use. Dr. Robot Repairs and Restorations is not responsible for verifying the copyright status of submitted media and disclaims liability arising from a customer's submission of content they do not have the right to copy.

Payment

Pricing is provided as part of your individual quote and agreed to before work begins. We don't publish fixed prices on this website because every job is different.

We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be posted on this page.
